10. This is a very informative book and I would strongly recommend anyone to read it. If you don't much about Dr. King this book will fill you in. Tonya Bolden does wonderful job in looking into Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life. We are informed that his birth name was Michael named after his father. Eventually, Dr. King changes his and his sons name to Martin Luther. The book also tells us how he was a Nobel Peace Prize winner. The author goes into details to let the audience know what Dr. King inspirations were and the people, events, and decisions that helped him on his journey to end discrimination/segregation. This book also falls in the category with "Rosa." It too is a great book to use in class when discussing African-American history or in February for black history month.
